Description
Red Dawn is highly resistant to apple scab, fire blight, and cedar apple rust. Its fruit offers a sweet, classic apple flavor, making it delicious for human consumption as well as an excellent Deer Apple. Red Dawn apples typically ripen around November 1, and the tree often holds fruit well into December. In some areas, deer can be seen foraging through the snow for dropped apples from December into January.
