Description
The Rut Master apple tree is resistant to apple scab and powdery mildew. Its fruit features a tart, tangy flavor that sweetens with age. The apples typically ripen around November 1, and the tree often holds fruit into December, with deer foraging through the snow for dropped apples throughout the month. A pollinator is required for best fruit production; the Red Dawn variety is a recommended pollinator. Mature trees reach 20–25 feet in height.
